Employee of the Month April 2003

Loria Robacker, unit secretary, is fondly known by her peers as the "goodwill ambassador" of 5100.

Her cheerful nature and willingness to help in any way she can are just a couple of the reasons she was named Employee of the Month for April.

"She is a great employee," said Vibiana Gonzales. "I know that because everyone is always trying to steal her from me."

Staff Coordinator Debbie Bauman said Lori is always courteous on the phone, is punctual and never sick, is willing to float to any department if needed and helps train other Unit Secretaries.

Among the many projects Loria has worked on, she helped "Fit Test" the entire hospital, a task that required a lot of coordination and lots of time.

Loria explained that she realized she wanted to work for Redlands Community Hospital after giving birth to her last daughter here.

"I got such great care that I knew I wanted to work here," she told the crowd of well-wishers at a celebration held in her honor earlier this month. "I'm here because of all of you."
