Employee of the Month March 2003

Kim Ramirez, Business Office support, was honored early in March as the Employee of the Month.

Kim was credited for assisting the department to break the hospital's collection record four times during the past fiscal year. "Without Kim's hard work and dedication, this would not have been possible," said her supervisor, Joe Petrotta. "She consistently fulfills the requests of the staff in a timely and professional manner, which enables our department to keep our cash collections high."

Kim received more than a dozen nominations for this honor from employees in several departments.

"Kimberly Ramirez is a very hard-working employee -- very diligent and very dependable. She never complains," Michael Navarro wrote in his nomination. "If you need something from her stat (immediately), she drops all her 10 million things from her to-do list and attends to you right away."

Other co-workers commented on her pleasant nature and the constant smile she has on her face, no matter what her work load is.

Kim has worked for RCH since September of 2000.
