Employee of the Month May 2003

Judy Araujo's employee of the month nomination was signed by so many people it looked like a petition.

She has worked for Sodexho in food services since 1999 and has obtained a reputation for her courteous customer service.

"She knows her customers' favorites, especially breakfast burritos, and she has them ready for them when they walk into the cafeteria," said Virginia Thomas. "She not only knows their favorites, but she knows their routines."

Judy can often be seen manning the deli bar or working the grill. She also takes on any other tasks necessary to keep the employees, patients and visitors happy and hunger-free.

"She is a very hard worker, especially when they are short-handed (in the cafeteria). She will go above and beyond her normal duties to see that the customers are satisfied," her nomination form read.

Judy has earned the highest ratings on her annual reviews each year for customer service and hospitality.

"We are very proud to employ such a dedicated and customer service-oriented employee," said Virginia.
