Employee of the Month December 2004

Nobody can accuse Linda Close-Rogers of having too much spare time. In addition to her full-time position in Medical Records as a chart analyst, Linda helps with activities at Asistencia Villa, helps coordinate the monthly hospital blood drive and is chair of the auxiliary quilt group.

"Linda is a very dedicated employee," said Director David Stanley. "Every year, Linda flags thousands of records for chart deficiencies."

These are just some of her efforts that earned her the Employee of the Month award.

"Linda represents RCH values at their best," said Sabi Dadabhai, Chief Financial Officer.

Hospital President Jim Holmes described her as a "real class act."

Linda has worked for RCH since October 1988 and has been named employee of the month twice. The first time was in 1997.

When asked how she accomplishes it all, Linda said, "I sleep fast." Linda has been known to report to work as early as 1 a.m. to fit all of her activities in.
