Employee of the Month July 2004

Connie Boyd, unit secretary in TCU, was named the July Employee of the Month.

Co-workers gathered to celebrate the honor earlier this month and described her as a very dependable person who helps the unit run smoothly.

Connie keeps the wheels turning on TCU. "If ever anyone has a question about a patient, test, procedure, Title 22, you name it, Connie knows what to do and who to go see to fix it," Director Maureen Harsch wrote in her nomination.

Connie was also described as a quick and efficient employee who knows how to do her job very well. She keeps items that she needs organized in such a way that she can refer to them quickly.

"Outwardly, Connie always appears in control and she knows what needs to be done, even if she feels nervous inside. She is a wonderful support system to the staff and PCC and she is a tremendous asset to the unit," wrote Maureen. "She deserves the recognition of her peers and for being such a strong and positive presence on TCU."
