Employee of the Month June 2005

Josephine (Jo) Rodriguez is the type of employee who does not hesitate to work hard and wear a smile while doing so.

This was the theme of the 27 nominations that were turned in requesting that she be named Employee of the Month.

A celebration was held in her honor earlier this month.

Josephine has been a member of the Sodexho custodial staff since 1983. Her coworkers say she is always busy but does not refuse any extra work.

"I appreciate how thorough she is," said Kara Laycock. "She always has a smile on her face and is always more than willing to do whatever it takes to keep the unit clean and running smooth."

"She is always very attentive to the staff and patients' needs," said Unit Secretary Christine Drake. "She responds fast to all the staff and patient requests. We all love her in O.B."
